Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche – Annual Seminar 2025

Registration is now open!

We are delighted to welcome Chökyi Nyima Rinpoche back to Gomde UK for his annual seminar—a rare and precious opportunity to receive direct Dharma teachings, empowerments, and spiritual guidance from a highly revered master of the Chokling Tersar lineage.

This week-long seminar is open to everyone, regardless of experience. Teachings will be translated into English and include a range of accommodation and attendance options.

Teachings

Throughout the seminar, Rinpoche will offer clear, essential instructions on:

  • The reasons for practicing the Dharma

  • The methods of practicing the Dharma

  • The fruits of practicing the Dharma

He will also present a teaching on the Three ViewsMadhyamaka, Mahamudra, and Dzogchen—through the lens of the Thirty-Seven Practices of a Bodhisattva, offering deep insight into view, meditation, and conduct.

Empowerments: Barsam Drolsum

Rinpoche will kindly bestow the Barsam Drolsum, a trilogy of profound empowerments from the Chokling Tersar tradition, recognised and revered across all Tibetan Buddhist lineages. These empowerments act as powerful remedies to obstacles and promote well-being, healing, and spiritual protection.

They include:

  • Barché Lamsel — A prayer of praise to Guru Rinpoche, dispelling all obstacles

  • Sampa Lhundrup — The spontaneous fulfillment of wishes, invoking Padmasambhava’s swift, active compassion

  • Zabtik Drolchok — A practice of Tara from the Tara Triple Excellence, known for granting protection and swift blessings

These transmissions come from the treasure (terma) revelations of Chokgyur Dechen Lingpa (1829–1870), one of the greatest tertöns in Tibetan history and Rinpoche’s own great-great-grandfather.

Ngakso Puja – Saturday 23rd August

Ocean of Amrita: The Mantric Mending Practice

The Ngakso Puja is a full-day tantric ritual for purifying broken commitments (samaya) and restoring harmony within oneself and the sangha. Revealed by Chokgyur Lingpa and practiced annually under Rinpoche’s guidance, this richly symbolic and powerful ritual reconnects us to our innate Buddha nature.

Day visitors are welcome. Please arrive by 9:00 AM.
